New ideas, new maps, new worlds!
From about 1450 to 1650, artists painted masterpieces, thinkers had bold new ideas, and a new printing press spread words fast. Sailors crossed huge oceans, while mighty empires rose in Africa, Asia, and the Americas. It was a time of big discoveries and big changes all around the world.
